A Project Designed to Serve the Community

The Civic Center and Park Project brings together several related improvements that are designed to support how the community functions, both in everyday use and during critical events.

Civic Center construction and park enhancements are underway, while the park expansion is actively being advanced through design.

The project includes a new Civic and Community Center, and integrated Emergency Operations Center (EOC), enhancements to the existing park, and the future expansion of additional park space. While each component serves a different purpose, they are planned and developed as part of a coordinated effort to improve services, strengthen emergency response, and expand opportunities for recreation and community use.

The Civic Center represents the first phase of this effort. The current construction phase includes critical infrastructure and site improvements that are necessary to support the future development of the full park expansion.

This phased approach allows the District to deliver meaningful improvements now while continuing to advance the larger vision for the site.
